At Bchex, we pride ourselves on nurturing talent from within, fostering a culture of growth and dedication. One of the shining examples of this is Ingrid House, our Director of Operations. Ingrid's journey with us is a testament to hard work, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

A Humble Beginning Under OccuDx

Ingrid's adventure began at OccuDx, where she first collaborated with Randall Wilson, now our Chief Operating Officer (COO). Starting as a Client Services Representative in the realm of drug and health screening, Ingrid had one clear goal: to become a jack-of-all-trades. Her role was multifaceted, encompassing answering client service calls and emails, account setups, billing and more. Her focus was on building relationships with clients so they would become raving fans and see the value of the services offered.

Growth Through Mergers and Promotions

The pivotal year was 2019 when OccuDx merged with BIB, which is now DBA Bchex. This merger marked a significant turning point in Ingrid's career as she was promoted to Client Services Manager, overseeing both background screening and occupational health. During this period, Ingrid not only expanded her knowledge of background checks but also found a deep sense of reward in becoming more effective and impactful in her role.

Her desire for growth and learning did not go unnoticed. Two years ago, in 2022, Ingrid was promoted to Director of Operations. This role has allowed her to continue her mission of caring for our clients, ensuring they receive top-notch services, and maintaining their happiness. Equally important to Ingrid is mentoring team managers and employees who are passionate, productive and excited to be a part of Bchex.

Inspired by Leadership and Mentorship

Ingrid's journey has been significantly shaped by the mentorship of Randall Wilson. As COO, Randall has played a crucial role in her growth, guiding her through the intricacies of the business and encouraging her to innovate continually. Ingrid deeply appreciates working for leaders like Randall and Ken Monroe, our CEO, who not only prioritize business success but also have a genuine heart for protecting what matters.

A Culture of Care and Development

"I am incredibly proud to be part of a company where everyone genuinely cares—both about our clients and each other. At Bchex, we are not just colleagues; we are a family committed to excellence. Our leaders' dedication to growing talent from within and their genuine compassion make it possible for us to thrive and make a meaningful impact every day," Ingrid shares passionately. She believes that the company’s focus on internal growth, investing time and development into employees, is both exciting to watch and beneficial for everyone involved. Ingrid's story is a perfect example of how Bchex values and nurtures its employees, helping them grow and, in turn, contributing to the growth of others.

Looking Forward to Innovation

Ingrid thrives on the innovation led by our leadership. She is always excited about what’s next, eager to contribute to new ideas and improvements that keep Bchex at the forefront of background screening and occupational health services.

Ingrid House's journey from Client Services Representative to Director of Operations exemplifies the values that Bchex holds dear. Her dedication, continuous learning, and heartfelt care for clients and colleagues alike make her an invaluable part of our team. Under the mentorship of leaders like Randall Wilson and Ken Monroe, Ingrid continues to inspire and lead by example, embodying the spirit of protecting what matters.
